Short Course: Reflective Functioning Training
We run two Reflective Functioning Training courses at the AFC. They are:
- Reflective Functioning Training on the Adult Attachment Interview
- Reflective Functioning Training on the Parent Development Interview

Reflective Functioning Training on the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI)
No courses are scheduled at present.
Course Director: Mary Target.
The 3-day course in Reflective Functioning provides a route for allied professionals working in the area of child mental health and clinical research to learn the skills required to complete the Reliability Test and become a Reflective Functioning Coder on the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI).
Course fee: £600

Reflective Functioning Training on the Parent Development Interview (PDI)
No courses are scheduled at present.
Course Director: Michelle Sleed.
The 3-day course in Reflective Functioning (RF) on the PDI provides a route for allied professionals working in the area of child mental health and clinical research to gain an understanding of parental Reflective Functioning/mentalization and to learn how to become a reliable coder of RF on the Parent Development Interview.
