The Parent-Infant Project (PIP) Training Programmes
The Parent Infant Project's training programmes aim to further understanding and expertise in the identification of risk in infancy, and to enhance an effective intervention [glossary].
Current training courses include:
- An annual 10-week Multi-Disciplinary Module in Parent-Infant Mental Health, for professionals working with infants and their families who are seeking to extend their knowledge and skills, particularly in the early identification of risk.
- An annual Introduction to the Practice of Psychoanalytic Parent-Infant Psychotherapy for therapists, psychiatrists and other professionals working clinically in the area of early intervention and attachment disorders.
- An annual International Study Day which brings together psychoanalytically trained therapists for clinical discussion of parent-infant psychotherapy.
- Specially commissioned training packages specifically adapted to individual organisations and their local populations, in the UK and abroad.
